Shloka was born on July 11, 1990, in Mumbai, India. She is the daughter of Russell Mehta, a diamond magnate, and Mona Mehta. She attended the Dhirubhai Ambani International School in Mumbai and went on to study anthropology at Princeton University. She also holds a master’s degree in law from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
After completing her education, Shloka returned to India and joined the family business, Rosy Blue Diamonds. She also co-founded ConnectFor in 2015.
